A bright-eyed young man in 1980's Berkeley longs to find meaning beyond the world bounded by Telegraph Avenue and the Haight-Ashbury. His fascination with the charismatic and predatory leader of the rock band Power Play leads to a hunger to be admitted to the inner sanctum of Power Play’s occult-infused entourage and triggers his transit through a dark landscape of dreams and metaphysics. There, he is forced to challenge his sexuality, his friendships and his very life.
